Welcome to my breeder page!

This page is being established to show you my breeders and provide for documentation of my journey of breeding bettas. It is my intent to show you pictures of my breeding stock and allow you to see my progress towards breeding Show quality bettas. I Am developing a system to account for the beginning genetics of my fish and this site is an attempt to demonstrate my progress. As any breeder knows keeping accurate records and having a method of identifying genetics and spawning results. Sooooooooooo..........without further adieu here are my naming rules.

Naming Rules for GE Bettas

Each Male Breeder will have a unique id # starting with M identifying it as a Male (duh) i will start with 1 and increment with each new male breeder.
Each Female.. you guessed it will start with F and number will be incremented.
Each Spawn will carry a naming convention of the Father and the Mother with the date they were born in Month/day/year format so a looking at the spawn number you will know Father, Mother and date born ie the first spawn born from Male1 and Female 1 born on January 1,2008 will have a spawn number of M1F1 01.01.2008
Only spawns that produce free swimming fry will be logged.
At 3 months of age I plan to show pictures of the best of the spawn that I plan to keep
